We are especially interested in the untold, unique musical stories of BIPOC and underrepresented composers/performers.

Call for Scores
New narratives through new music! Submit scores titled about or depicting change.
Compositions must be scored for: voice (any type), flute, saxophone, & piano.
Duration: 5-12 minutes
1 Winner will receive: $500, a world-premiere at SMF 2026, and a live video recording of the work.
Up to 2 Honorable Mentions will be selected to receive a world-premiere performance at SMF 2026.
Maximum 2 submissions per composer.
