Join us for musical storytelling through chamber music inspired by wildlife and creatures of all sizes! Cocktail hour, Formal Gala Concert with Creature Costumes, Chamber Music Performances featuring newly-composed works, and a Children’s Event in MHK. Events at Prairiewood’s Blue Sage Barn.

Chamber music for voice, flute, saxophone, piano. Featuring the world premiere of Laurent Courbier’s From the Chrysalis as Winner of the SMF 2024 Call for Scores and works by George Crumb, The Beatles, and more.

Crawl, Hop, Fly: A Musical Adventure with Creatures
Crawl, Hop, Fly revolves around the theme of creatures: big and small. It will explore the diverse world of animals, insects, and wildlife, showcasing their importance and interconnectedness. Through the children’s opera The Three Little Pigs, instrumental music, and animal and insect-themed activities, children will be taken on a musical journey that celebrates the rich tapestry of animals and insects that inhabit our planet.
